Sign the Petition: Keep Taxes Low & Stop Council Pay Raises
Glenn Heights families are already paying more. This year alone, the city’s adopted budget increased by over 32%, while leaders push a $34.5 million bond that will add decades of new debt.
Instead of using the city’s 250+ days of reserves responsibly, they’re asking for more from taxpayers, and now, they want to start paying themselves with new monthly salaries for the mayor and council.
It’s time to put families first.
We call on city leaders to:
Keep the property tax rate low
Stop adding new debt while reserves are overflowing
Prioritize first responders and city services — not political paychecks
Reject council pay raises
Together, we can send a clear message: Glenn Heights deserves responsible leadership, not higher taxes.
